The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 6 minutes, Dewain Tracy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Knocktemple FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dewain Tracy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 9 minutes into the game, Knocktemple FC's Benedict Rutherford nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Norberto Ixidor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. A collision led to Knocktemple FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Dolan McBrandon hit a great ball. If Lucio Ondino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes in the game, Benedict Rutherford fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Norberto Ixidor having to interfere. After 20 played minutes Knocktemple FC got a freekick which was hit by Breannain Ramsey. After having played for 24 minutes, Benedict Rutherford managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Knocktemple FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedict Rutherford was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 31 minutes in the game Laureano Paez did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Tomás Ado. In the 38th minute, Rylie McMichel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Norberto Ixidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedict Rutherford, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Benedict Rutherford came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Knocktemple FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedict Rutherford couldn't finish the play. After having played for 45 minutes, Benedict Rutherford managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Knocktemple FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedict Rutherford was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 52nd minute, Benedict Rutherford made a precise shot to the right of Norberto Ixidor. Htb.Wireshark's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Knocktemple FC's Boyle McJohn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Mino in the 55th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Htb.Wireshark's zone, Benedict Rutherford stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norberto Ixidor came out of the goal and Benedict Rutherford tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucio Ondino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Boyle McJohn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benedict Rutherford's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Norberto Ixidor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Ciarán McCollion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Ixidor having to interfere. Boyle McJohn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustavo Veto in the 68th minute. 74 minutes in the game Laureano Paez did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Lucio Ondino. The supporters of Knocktemple FC booed when Htb.Wireshark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laureano Paez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cullan Prunty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Ixidor having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Knocktemple FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Htb.Wireshark had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
