Bengt Håning came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Wichura Targanice's Jan Pracki. But to his dismay, Jan Pracki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Szczepan Liermann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Bengt Håning tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22ndth minute of the game Rudolf Dahlbom who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wichura Targanice's Lech Krzynowek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Wichura Targanice getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Pankracy Penkalski hit a great ball. After 24 played minutes, Ödåkra FK's Marcus Damm shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lech Krzynowek came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ödåkra FK reached it. After having played for 28 minutes, Rudolf Dahlbom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ödåkra FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rudolf Dahlbom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Torbjörn Sundén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Lech Krzynowek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lech Krzynowek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torbjörn Sundén in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute Torbjörn Sundén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lech Krzynowek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Torbjörn Sundén had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lech Krzynowek. Wichura Targanice's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Torbjörn Sundén was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 47 minutes into the game, Bengt-Rune Ekeberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ödåkra FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wichura Targanice the free kick. Bengt-Rune Ekeberg hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Ödåkra FK's Bengt Håning got control of the ball when Jan Pracki tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rudolf Dahlbom stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match, Torbjörn Sundén got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lech Krzynowek was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Szczepan Liermann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute Rudolf Dahlbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lech Krzynowek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lech Krzynowek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudolf Dahlbom in the 61st minute of the match. Szczepan Liermann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lech Krzynowek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ödåkra FK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
