With his leg Wesley Rush managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Korona Kielce's Gabi Martinelli fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Wesley Rush made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alex Macedo in the 18th minute. Wesley Rush took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chesney Summers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabi Martinelli got free with Wesley Rush in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The throw-in from Niculae Biriș in the 34th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Amsterdam Wanderers's Mick Morris. Wesley Rush showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Macedo in the 36th minute of the match. Wesley Rush was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Alex Macedo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alex Macedo really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Chesney Summers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wesley Rush having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.
