After 31 played minutes Clapham Rovers got a freekick which was hit by Kasey Griggs. If Zhao Sen Yang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Clapham Rovers defense, Zhao Sen Yang kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ennio Orsini. The Clapham Rovers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ennio Orsini should have stopped the shot. In the 38th minute Zhao Sen Yang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ennio Orsini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ennio Orsini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhao Sen Yang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the game, İlhami Akyazıcı was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clapham Rovers the free kick. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zhao Sen Yang stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Moss in the 53rd minute of play forced Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Ivan Chiuzbaian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Chiuzbaian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cléberson Mendonça in the 59th minute of play. Ivan Chiuzbaian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cléberson Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, Clapham Rovers's goal looked a bit too open when Petre Iftode came free, but Ennio Orsini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Petre Iftode made a precise shot to the right of Ennio Orsini. Clapham Rovers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Cătălin Tudoran was substituted for Stasio Bienienda. Primitivo Graus short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Ennio Orsini to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Petre Iftode sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cătălin Tudoran was slow to take the kick. During this time Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s players had a chance to rest. Ivan Chiuzbaian came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Clapham Rovers's Jools Holland. But to his dismay, Jools Holland quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After a rather tough play, Clapham Rovers's Adrian Moss got a free kick in the 93rd minute. A hard shot by Cătălin Tudoran from long distance, 94 minutes into the match, got Ennio Orsini's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Clapham Rovers's goalkeeper Ennio Orsini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mugurel Pandele hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
