Agostinho Negri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ingmar Stenberg having to make a save. 15 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goal looked a bit too open when Agostinho Negri came free, but Ingmar Stenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ingmar Stenberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agostinho Negri in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute Mats Hermansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimo Ülend saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Börje Stål in the 29th minute of play forced Korona Kielce's goalkeeper Raimo Ülend to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agostinho Negri in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ingmar Stenberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martin Mutumba to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agostinho Negri in the 51st minute of play forced Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Ingmar Stenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 53 minutes Vykans Vikingar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dave Legzdins who took care of the corner kick. In the 54th match minute, Vykans Vikingar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Indalecio to maneuver through the defense.
