The audience thought a goal was coming when Todd Griffiths got free with Marcus Ekrot in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot got control of the ball when Todd Griffiths tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcus Ekrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Todd Griffiths, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Heavenly Hooters's Lennie Rusby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Mutumba in the 40th minute of play. The supporters of Heavenly Hooters booed when Vykans Vikingar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Eden didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Bengt-Arne Haglund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Isac Vornicu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Ekrot having to interfere. After 80 minutes, Isac Vornicu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Heavenly Hooters and the Vykans Vikingar players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th minute of the match, Fernan Berart tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lennie Rusby saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 90 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goal looked a bit too open when Brandon Wright came free, but Marcus Ekrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
