An unexpectedly hard shot by Gus Weir in the 22nd minute of play forced Parma Exiles's goalkeeper Pawel Makarewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Russ Hunter fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Parma Exiles's protests and gave Russ Hunter a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Real Chelsea booed when Parma Exiles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Russ Hunter didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Real Chelsea fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Real Chelsea's Gus Weir looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Gus Weir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Pawel Makarewicz made a huge save. 77 minutes into the match, Parma Exiles's goal looked a bit too open when Timothy Thorne came free, but Pawel Makarewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
