A sloppy throw-in by Gualter Távora in the 2nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Fotbal Club Vaslui's Gică Hăulică. Genaro Montez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Espírito Santo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raimundo Espírito Santo in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Genaro Montez saved Fotbal Club Vaslui from getting behind. Armando Gazza came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Fotbal Club Vaslui's Traian Traian. But to his dismay, Traian Traian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 26 minutes into the match, Juventus PTM's goal looked a bit too open when Wellington Neves came free, but Armando Gazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Traian Traian got free with Armando Gazza in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Traian Traian in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Armando Gazza, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Juventus PTM booed when Fotbal Club Vaslui was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gică Hăulică didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raimundo Espírito Santo made a kick off. In the 57th match minute, Fotbal Club Vaslui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toader Muncelean to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Fotbal Club Vaslui getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Visti Hjelmstoft hit a great ball. Fotbal Club Vaslui's Marcu Piţurcă was substituted for Gică Hăulică.
