In the 3rd minute, Horaţiu Rotariu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Navigatii Bacău fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Alex Ţirpe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adam Rywin in the 6th minute. Navigatii Bacău's Konrad Ziemniak got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Navigatii Bacău's Adam Rywin was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 11th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 16 minutes into the game, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Ozzy Doro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Papo Roach made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. When Iggy Doro came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Batalionul U23 Dorobanti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iggy Doro couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Alex Ţirpe got control of the ball when Adam Rywin tried to sneak it across the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Navigatii Bacău's goal looked a bit too open when Iggy Doro came free, but Papo Roach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute Iggy Doro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Papo Roach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alex Ţirpe was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ion Lupu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iggy Doro in the 53rd minute of play forced Navigatii Bacău's goalkeeper Papo Roach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Konrad Ziemniak kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Navigatii Bacău's goal looked a bit too open when Iggy Doro came free, but Papo Roach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, Adam Rywin made a precise shot to the right of Alex Ţirpe. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ozzy Doro got free with Papo Roach in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 69 minutes, Konrad Ziemniak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Navigatii Bacău's supporters crossed their fingers, but Konrad Ziemniak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alex Ţirpe came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Navigatii Bacău's Adam Rywin. But to his dismay, Adam Rywin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Ion Lupu charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ion Lupu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 74th minute, Ion Lupu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Adam Rywin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Navigatii Bacău's supporters rose to their feet, but Adam Rywin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alex Ţirpe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Batalionul U23 Dorobanti getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Quique Doro hit a great ball. When Petru Novacovici fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's protests and gave Petru Novacovici a yellow card for diving instead. After 79 played minutes Batalionul U23 Dorobanti got a freekick which was hit by Petru Novacovici. After 89 played minutes Navigatii Bacău got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Rodas. Ion Lupu hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. If Jannik Roblaa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
