Cristi Miheș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitri Bougault in the 2nd minute of play. Norbert Cadart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristi Miheș having to interfere. Filomeno Igon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ludomil Kajdasz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute of the match Armada got a corner. Herblay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. He Wei Feng ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elder Godoi got free with Ludomil Kajdasz in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 10th minute, Armada's Elder Godoi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Billy Magnin made in the 25th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Norbert Cadart however managed to control. Cristi Miheș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Cadart in the 28th minute of play. Ludomil Kajdasz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filomeno Igon's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. When Armada's Filomeno Igon in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Herblay's goalie prevented a goal. In the 35th minute Norbert Cadart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristi Miheș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filomeno Igon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludomil Kajdasz having to interfere. Ludomil Kajdasz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Igon, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute Filomeno Igon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludomil Kajdasz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Filomeno Igon came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Armada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filomeno Igon couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Léon Monnet to make the kick off. In the 50th minute, Ionică Hrandabur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Igon in the 52nd minute of play forced Herblay's goalkeeper Ludomil Kajdasz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Armada's goal looked a bit too open when Norbert Cadart came free, but Cristi Miheș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Armada's Cristi Miheș got control of the ball when Dimitri Bougault tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ma Feng Sen hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Armada's Cristi Miheș proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Armada from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Herblay booed when Armada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasios Boukouvalas didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Holger Duusgaard from long distance, 78 minutes into the match, got Cristi Miheș's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Armada's Filomeno Igon in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Herblay's goalie prevented a goal. After 84 minutes of play, Herblay's Léon Monnet made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristi Miheș was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filomeno Igon in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ludomil Kajdasz saved Herblay from getting behind. Filomeno Igon struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Ludomil Kajdasz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Armada. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustapha Monteillet in the 93rd minute of play forced Armada's goalkeeper Cristi Miheș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 95 in the game by Dimitri Bougault from a close distance when the talented Cristi Miheș managed to make a qualified save. Armada's players were relieved.
