Vlashers's Pauli Palander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rony Dudu in the 3rd minute of play. Pauli Palander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rony Dudu's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marius Levința got free with Lucrețiu Roșeanu in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ernest Mareș struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Lucrețiu Roșeanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vlashers. In the 10th minute, Petrică Dragu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucrețiu Roșeanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Petrică Dragu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucrețiu Roșeanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Lucky Luciano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lucrețiu Roșeanu. That made the score 2-0 in the 18 minute of play. In the 21stth minute of the game Rony Dudu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vlashers's Pauli Palander was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sporting Royal's Lucrețiu Roșeanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Royal from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavian Gherasescu in the 24th minute of play forced Vlashers's goalkeeper Pauli Palander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcu Ploieșteanu's late challenge caught a Vlashers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcu Ploieșteanu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Vlashers booed when Sporting Royal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcu Ploieșteanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Vlashers's goal looked a bit too open when Bum-Kun Kun came free, but Pauli Palander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Octavian Gherasescu in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pauli Palander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 36 minutes of play, Sporting Royal's Rony Dudu made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pauli Palander was left in no man's land by his defense there! 42 minutes into the match, Vlashers's goal looked a bit too open when Octavian Gherasescu came free, but Pauli Palander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vlashers's Pauli Palander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rony Dudu in the 43rd minute of play. Pauli Palander didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rony Dudu went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rony Dudu to make the kick off. After 51 minutes, Dinu Moșanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vlashers and the Sporting Royal players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Vlashers getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Dinu Moșanu hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgil Panciu in the 53rd minute of play forced Vlashers's goalkeeper Pauli Palander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rony Dudu scored 2-3 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pauli Palander, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 62nd minute of the match Vlashers got a corner. Sporting Royal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Romeo Giurăscu ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Albert Stegaru managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 66th minute Octavian Gherasescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pauli Palander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Sporting Royal booed when Vlashers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernest Mareș didn't get a good kick on the ball. Octavian Gherasescu hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Sporting Royal's Lucrețiu Roșeanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernest Mareș in the 72nd minute of play. Pauli Palander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bum-Kun Kun in the 74th minute of the match. Pauli Palander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgil Panciu in the 75th minute of play. Virgil Panciu scored 3-4 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pauli Palander, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Albert Stegaru took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucrețiu Roșeanu. Lucrețiu Roșeanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavian Gherasescu in the 82nd minute of play forced Vlashers's goalkeeper Pauli Palander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A long shot from Rony Dudu in the 87th minute of play was well struck, but Pauli Palander made a really good save at the right post. Rony Dudus short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Pauli Palander to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Virgil Panciu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pauli Palander having to interfere. After 94 played minutes Vlashers got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Giurăscu. Pauli Palander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Octavian Gherasescu in the 95th minute. Lucrețiu Roșeanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marius Levința, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
