An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Espírito Santo in the 7th minute of play forced Herblay's goalkeeper Ludomil Kajdasz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Raimundo Espírito Santo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juventus PTM's supporters rose to their feet, but Raimundo Espírito Santo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ludomil Kajdasz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th minute Raimundo Espírito Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludomil Kajdasz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferdinand Honcioiu got free with Ludomil Kajdasz in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 71 played minutes Juventus PTM got a freekick which was hit by Alex Acatincăi. If Norbert Cadart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Armando Gazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonin Dagorne in the 78th minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Antonin Dagorne cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Armando Gazza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ludomil Kajdasz was a little too slow when Yenal Tanır got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 1-5. Ludomil Kajdasz made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Ferdinand Honcioiu sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Herblay booed when Juventus PTM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldinho Messias didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Juventus PTM supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Juventus PTM would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
