The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Duro Amor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Dominic Morquera made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Dominic Morquera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cris Brunet hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After 20 played minutes, TiGrEs Fx's Sobah Amor shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dominic Morquera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in TiGrEs Fx reached it. 23 minutes into the match, Duro Amor notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Atlético Grau Piura's Dominic Morquera. Dominic Morquera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sobah Amor got free with Dominic Morquera in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rayman Moixi made a kick off. After 60 played minutes TiGrEs Fx got a freekick which was hit by Duro Amor. In the 66th minute, Pacho Oton reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kinsen Berzosa. The goal made the score 3-2. After having played for 70 minutes, Sobah Amor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TiGrEs Fx's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sobah Amor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to TiGrEs Fx getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Veremundo Clusella hit a great ball. When Jaunzuria Irisarri fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TiGrEs Fx's protests and gave Jaunzuria Irisarri a yellow card for diving instead.
