CD Municipal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luli Lulev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Dimas Trapiella notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Monitor Huáscar's Ferman Basabe. Ferman Basabe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Haimar Moixi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Burutzagi Romero. That made the score 2-1 in the 14 minute of play. Mauro Risel kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. CD Municipal's Burutzagi Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luli Lulev in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Monitor Huáscar's Gilabert Ruega nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Burutzagi Romero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 30th minute, Luli Lulev made a precise shot to the right of Burutzagi Romero. CD Municipal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. In the 32nd minute, Luli Lulev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Monitor Huáscar booed when CD Municipal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dimas Trapiella didn't get a good kick on the ball. If David-Adriano Rivadeneyra-Salgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Monitor Huáscar's Gilabert Ruega got a free kick in the 43rd minute. If Luli Lulev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. Gilabert Ruega scored 5-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Burutzagi Romero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

In the 56th minute Luli Lulev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Burutzagi Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luli Lulev scored 6-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Burutzagi Romero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. But to his dismay, Gilabert Ruega quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-1. Burutzagi Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilabert Ruega, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Burutzagi Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konstantinos Rivadeneyra in the 85th minute of the match. Burutzagi Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilabert Ruega in the 90th minute of play. Konstantinos Rivadeneyra took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Burutzagi Romero. Burutzagi Romero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-1. The Monitor Huáscar fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when Monitor Huáscar's Konstantinos Rivadeneyra looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 10-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Monitor Huáscar's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
