Sporting Cristal's Everardo Alsua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duro Amor in the 8th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Duro Amor reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Everardo Alsua. The goal made the score 2-0. Teyo Axeitos was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 17 minutes into the match. Kinsen Berzosa had in the 19thth minute some difficulties stopping Erasmo Irizar's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Kinsen Berzosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaxen Zulaica, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The supporters of TiGrEs Fx booed when Sporting Cristal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romano Sequeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, TiGrEs Fx's Ignazio Benegas got a free kick in the 31st minute. Everardo Alsua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duro Amor, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duro Amor in the 46th minute of play forced Sporting Cristal's goalkeeper Everardo Alsua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kaxen Zulaica to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duro Amor in the 52nd minute of play forced Sporting Cristal's goalkeeper Everardo Alsua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Duro Amor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Alsua having to interfere. In the 71st match minute, TiGrEs Fx was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ler Teja to maneuver through the defense. Kaxen Zulaica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Kinsen Berzosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 73 played minutes TiGrEs Fx got a freekick which was hit by Ler Teja. TiGrEs Fx's Kinsen Berzosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save TiGrEs Fx from getting a goal against them. Kemen Villagran hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Duro Amor in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Everardo Alsua prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kinsen Berzosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mane Biembengén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the match, Duro Amor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Everardo Alsua. Sporting Cristal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Duro Amor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Ignazio Benegas's late challenge caught a Sporting Cristal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ignazio Benegas helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sporting Cristal booed when TiGrEs Fx was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignazio Benegas didn't get a good kick on the ball.
