The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Isias Corono kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Jimeno Elodio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to CD Municipal getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Isias Corono hit a great ball. Jimeno Elodio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Burutzagi Romero made a huge save. After 22 played minutes CD Municipal got a freekick which was hit by Cornelio Rigueiro. Cerilo Lubiano took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armando Foro. Armando Foro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Deportivo Tachito's Armando Foro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cerilo Lubiano in the 30th minute of play. After 37 minutes of play, CD Municipal's Telmo Castejon made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armando Foro was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, CD Municipal's Burutzagi Romero got control of the ball when Gavino Martino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jimeno Elodio made a kick off. When Justino Feliz came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Deportivo Tachito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justino Feliz couldn't finish the play. After 56 played minutes CD Municipal got a freekick which was hit by Mambru Entrala. In the 59th minute, Jimeno Elodio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Tachito fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. In the 62nd minute, Jimeno Elodio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Burutzagi Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justino Feliz in the 63rd minute of the match. Gavino Martino took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Burutzagi Romero. Burutzagi Romero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 4-4 when Jimeno Elodio sped through CD Municipal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Burutzagi Romero. Burutzagi Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavino Martino in the 79th minute of the match. Gavino Martino scored 6-4 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Burutzagi Romero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Deportivo Tachito fully deserved thier win.
