Gavino Bernat was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paolo Palomera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferman Basabe having to interfere. Gavino Bernat was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Luli Lulev capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luli Lulev really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. When Paolo Palomera fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's protests and gave Paolo Palomera a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Paolo Palomera hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Luli Lulev made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Molino in the 62nd minute of play forced ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's goalkeeper Gavino Bernat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Monitor Huáscar made a substitution. Steven Fortis replaced Ovidio Varez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lore Barrera in the 87th minute of play forced ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's goalkeeper Gavino Bernat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Steven Fortis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gavino Bernat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Monitor Huáscar's Jonathan Molino got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Gavino Bernat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lore Barrera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Monitor Huáscar were the better team. Monitor Huáscar's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
