He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CD Municipal reached it.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lapurdi Collazo made a kick off. Atlético Grau Piura's Cesario Pedulles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lapurdi Collazo in the 51st minute of play. After a rather tough play, CD Municipal's Sindo Reñe got a free kick in the 57th minute. After 59 minutes, Geraldo Ayaso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Municipal and the Atlético Grau Piura players grew even worse after the yellow card. 59 minutes into the game, one of CD Municipal:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
