An unexpectedly hard shot by Lv Lei in the 4th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the game, Lv Lei recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Lv Lei showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by KOO Tigers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Ecuador's Luis Andino getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Halil Utku Evvah didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 24th minute, Victor Chus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When KOO Tigers's Lv Lei in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Daniel Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 47th match minute, KOO Tigers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Meriç Baytekin to maneuver through the defense. The KOO Tigers players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. KOO Tigers's Halil Utku Evvah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 51st minute of play. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lv Lei ran back to his position shaking his head. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lv Lei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lv Lei in the 71st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Ecuador booed when KOO Tigers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ozan Candar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. KOO Tigers's attentive John Lim managed to snatch the ball when Primitivo Andino made a throw-in in the 93rd minute of the game. Désiré Kaká's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Désiré Kaká helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th minute, Désiré Kaká hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The KOO Tigers fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
