Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alejo Gurutz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Trinidad 4.7's Olof Derksen got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Heli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Trinidad 4.7 getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Ion Varga hit a great ball. Danilo Heli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 21st minute of play. Trinidad 4.7's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Elias Gomez in the 24th minute. The corner ended in Elias Gomez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. After 28 played minutes Trinidad 4.7 got a freekick which was hit by Leonides Jenaro. 31 minutes into the match, Trinidad 4.7's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Danilo Heli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Trinidad 4.7's Danilo Heli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute of play. The supporters of Trinidad 4.7 booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Alejo Gurutz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trinidad 4.7's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejo Gurutz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 46th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Heli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Danilo Heli made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olof Derksen in the 55th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Trinidad 4.7's Olof Derksen. But to his dismay, Olof Derksen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 58 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Alejo Gurutz came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alejo Gurutz might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alejo Gurutz ran back to his position shaking his head. Emmanuel Mammana charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emmanuel Mammana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 64 played minutes Trinidad 4.7 got a freekick which was hit by Emmanuel Mammana. In the 67th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montes to maneuver through the defense. In the 70thth minute of the game Olof Derksen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Txaran, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Trinidad 4.7 were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Elias Gomez took the corner. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Danilo Heli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After a rather tough play, Trinidad 4.7's Marcelino Silvanito got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 90th minute Olof Derksen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Elias Gomez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Astor Diegotxe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trinidad 4.7's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Trinidad 4.7 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Danilo Heli, was totally fooled by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita, who 96 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Despite being the better team, Ecuador failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
