In the 17th minute 林迪战 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mk.uskup.fc's 柯正默 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 40th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 柯正默 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Agustín Saelices slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of 柯正默. That made the score 1-1 after 62 minutes of play. 柯正默 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agustín Saelices could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but 柯正默 made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Mk.uskup.fc's Dušan Kokanov got a free kick in the 72nd minute. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. 85 minutes into the game, Mihail Stojanovski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mk.uskup.fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. A collision led to Mk.uskup.fc getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Mihail Stojanovski hit a great ball. Diljan Dzaferi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Mk.uskup.fc were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Waclaw Jajecznica took the corner. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great ball. Poyraz Ökmener scored 2-1 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
