Maximo Weterio got a throw-in 69 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Domingo Galeno. Alfredo Ferrant charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo Ferrant the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remigiusz Sroka in the 79th minute of the match. The referee ignored Mata Tangas de Victoria's protests and gave Froilan Bihar a yellow card for diving instead. After 96 played minutes Mata Tangas de Victoria got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Bihar. In the 97th minute of the match Mario Fernandino sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mario Barrionuevo skillfully saved the ball. The Mata Tangas de Victoria players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
