Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeferino Igrejas having to interfere. Óscar Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zeferino Igrejas. Zeferino Igrejas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Zeferino Igrejas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. The corner ended in Paulo Pires almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. 35 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roberto Brás. In the 36th minute, Felix Montenegro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 40th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeferino Igrejas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 44 played minutes Campus Douro Academy got a freekick which was hit by Óscar Andrade. 45 minutes into the match, Campus Douro Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Zeferino Igrejas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Campus Douro Academy players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vítor Macedo to strike the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Zeferino Igrejas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 57 minutes into the match, Campus Douro Academy's goalkeeper Zeferino Igrejas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. The supporters of Campus Douro Academy booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zeferino Igrejas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 62nd minute of play. With a little luck, Campus Douro Academy's Zeferino Igrejas got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 72nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zeferino Igrejas could save by the left post. Campus Douro Academy's Zeferino Igrejas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Campus Douro Academy from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Campus Douro Academy getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Altino Tristão hit a great ball. In the 86th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. 89 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zeferino Igrejas. Campus Douro Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Campus Douro Academy's Zeferino Igrejas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Campus Douro Academy from getting a goal against them. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zeferino Igrejas came out and tried to block the shot, but Agustín Saelices slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 95th minute.
