The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lautaro Mancebo to strike the kick off in the second half. Adam Christoffersson hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th match minute, BK Ugglan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dong Ting Fan to maneuver through the defense. Patrik Fagrell made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Urban Wennerlund fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BK Ugglan's protests and gave Urban Wennerlund a yellow card for diving instead. After 71 played minutes BK Ugglan got a freekick which was hit by Urban Wennerlund. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Alberto Tafalla put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Patrik Fagrell. After some careless play in the BK Ugglan defense, Alberto Tafalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrik Fagrell. The BK Ugglan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrik Fagrell should have stopped the shot. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Patrik Fagrell made a huge save. Patrik Fagrell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Facundo Cadaval went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. BK Ugglan's Olov Skoglund was substituted for Emil Nordlander. BK Ugglan's Bror Bruhn was substituted for Dong Ting Fan. Patrik Fagrell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Mexico played a much better game than BK Ugglan and deserved their victory. The BK Ugglan players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
