C.'s Attilio Gentile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 3rd minute of play. 4 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. In the 11thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Devebağırtan Gücü F. C.'s Attilio Gentile was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rıdvan Zeyrek. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Attilio Gentile tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Attilio Gentile stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Attilio Gentile having to interfere. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Luis Andino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Attilio Gentile narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 35th minute of play forced Devebağırtan Gücü F. C.'s goalkeeper Attilio Gentile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ray Pincini to make the kick off. Attilio Gentile was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 59 minute of play. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Attilio Gentile when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
