Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Petter Dahlqvist started the match with the kick off. Agne Lundkvist who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Agne Lundkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Testaferrata Viani having to interfere. Patricio Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Testaferrata Viani. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patricio Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. SOAD's Marco Testaferrata Viani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petter Dahlqvist in the 12th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Testaferrata Viani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 15 minutes SOAD's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Salvador Gisbert almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SOAD's Marco Testaferrata Viani did a great save. 25 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Testaferrata Viani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Venezuela booed when SOAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petter Dahlqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Testaferrata Viani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Testaferrata Viani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. SOAD's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Agne Lundkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Petter Dahlqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. After 55 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cornel Hoduț who took care of the corner kick. In the 56th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 59 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. 60 minutes into the game, Agne Lundkvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. SOAD made a substitution. Miroslav Gaži replaced Veronica Pipa. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after SOAD's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 75 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. SOAD made a substitution. Jakub Hendrich replaced Agne Lundkvist. 84 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Testaferrata Viani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 85th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
