Sammy Nixon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olgierd Walczak having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Gündüz Yalavaç got free with Roy Holman in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Gündüz Yalavaç in the 14th minute of play forced Mountain West FC's goalkeeper Roy Holman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roy Holman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benjamim Rollheiser in the 15th minute. Angelo Dumas hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute Benjamim Rollheiser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roy Holman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, David Muñoz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fcion C.A. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. David Muñoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Roy Holman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Benjamim Rollheiser notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Mountain West FC's Roy Holman. Roy Holman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 31 minutes into the match, David Muñoz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roy Holman. Mountain West FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Muñoz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Olgierd Walczak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Reyna in the 36th minute of the match. With a little luck, Mountain West FC's Roy Holman got control of the ball when Benjamim Rollheiser tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 41st minute Sammy Nixon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olgierd Walczak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mountain West FC's Eddy Sheehan got a free kick in the 46th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rikard Moberg in the 47th minute of play forced Mountain West FC's goalkeeper Roy Holman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sammy Nixon to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Chris Reyna reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Olgierd Walczak. The goal made the score 4-1. 55 minutes into the game, David Muñoz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Roy Holman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 58 minutes into the game, Fcion C.A.'s Sebastião Jacinto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roy Holman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Roy Holman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Gündüz Yalavaç in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, David Muñoz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fcion C.A. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. Roy Holman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Muñoz, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After 68 minutes, Orhan Seyfi Sancar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mountain West FC and the Fcion C.A. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mountain West FC's Orhan Seyfi Sancar got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute, Eddy Sheehan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rikard Moberg in the 69th minute of play forced Mountain West FC's goalkeeper Roy Holman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Mountain West FC's Olgierd Walczak threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sammy Nixon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 73rd minute, Benjamim Rollheiser made a precise shot to the right of Roy Holman. Mountain West FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-1. In the 77th minute David Muñoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roy Holman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Orhan Seyfi Sancar was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 78 minutes had been played. After 78 played minutes Mountain West FC got a freekick which was hit by Orhan Seyfi Sancar. Mountain West FC made a substitution. Darrell Humphrey replaced Chris Reyna. Mountain West FC's Roy Holman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Gündüz Yalavaç in the 83rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Gündüz Yalavaç in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roy Holman saved Mountain West FC from getting behind. David Muñoz took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roy Holman. Roy Holman was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Leif Donaldson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olgierd Walczak was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. There was no doubt that Fcion C.A. were the better team. Fcion C.A.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
