Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 袁渊斌 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 袁渊斌 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 13th minute of play. After 21 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Juan Luis Dean who took care of the corner kick. Juan Luis Dean made a great header on Del Materno Vengo's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 22nd match minute, Del Materno Vengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Amaya to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mugur Simionică got free with Julio Vera in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 27 minutes into the match, Luís Gustavo Mangueira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luís Gustavo Mangueira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Juan Luis Dean was slow to take the kick. During this time Del Materno Vengo's players had a chance to rest. A very nice done corner allowed Xabi Alonso to score against Julio Vera in Ecuador's goal. 2-0 after 37 minutes. 41 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. 袁渊斌 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Luís Gustavo Mangueira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Gustavo Mangueira made a kick off. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Del Materno Vengo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Amaya didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 56th minute of play forced Del Materno Vengo's goalkeeper 袁渊斌 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 袁渊斌 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 60th minute. With a little luck, Del Materno Vengo's 袁渊斌 got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 66 minutes of play, Del Materno Vengo's Luís Gustavo Mangueira made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Camilo Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Del Materno Vengo's Xabi Alonso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 80th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of 袁渊斌. Del Materno Vengo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. 袁渊斌 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agustín Saelicess short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got 袁渊斌 to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 88th minute. In the 90th play minute Cristian Sancho came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised 袁渊斌. 4-3. When the referee blew the final whistle, Del Materno Vengo could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
