In the 39th match minute, FC Piemonte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bozydar Kowalski to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute Abraham Alguacil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harold McGlenn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bozydar Kowalski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Berganza to make the kick off. Blanche Caffrey kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Harold McGlenn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harold McGlenn having to interfere. Marcos Cotilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Timmons McWillie went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Panama booed when FC Piemonte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward Mulvihill didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 75 played minutes FC Piemonte got a freekick which was hit by Edward Mulvihill. In the 78th minute Timmons McWillie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harold McGlenn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brannan McLaughlin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 85th play minutes Timmons McWillie shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Marcos Cotilla and just under the crossbar into goal. When Abraham Alguacil came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abraham Alguacil couldn't finish the play. When Rian Lavine fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Piemonte's protests and gave Rian Lavine a yellow card for diving instead. Rian Lavine kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harold McGlenn having to interfere. Despite being the better team, Panama failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
