Franciszek Lerych showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyryl Dziurowicz in the 4th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Fotis Katramados's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgar Gregorczyk was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. In the 8th play minute Fotis Katramados came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Edgar Gregorczyk. 1-0. Franciszek Lerych showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliusz Dlugi, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Napoleon Kolbert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Edgar Gregorczyk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fotis Katramados succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 20th playminute. 23 minutes in the game Cezary Haszczak did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Piotr Filipkowski. KS Blizne's Edgar Gregorczyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Napoleon Kolbert in the 25th minute of play. Franciszek Lerych made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hardy Skallergård in the 30th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Nestor Giro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the FC Dwa Do Ósmej defense, Aureliusz Dlugi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Franciszek Lerych. The FC Dwa Do Ósmej fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franciszek Lerych should have stopped the shot. Edgar Gregorczyk was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Fotis Katramados capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fotis Katramados really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. The wind increased when Aureliusz Dlugi made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Hardy Skallergård ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. With a little luck, FC Dwa Do Ósmej's Franciszek Lerych got control of the ball when Cyryl Dziurowicz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edgar Gregorczyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fotis Katramados, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Dwa Do Ósmej made a substitution. Arkadiusz Solibieda replaced Fotis Katramados. Piotr Filipkowski made in the 70th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Dwa Do Ósmej's Nestor Giro. FC Dwa Do Ósmej's Franciszek Lerych proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save FC Dwa Do Ósmej from getting a goal against them. Karl-Ove Hägert kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arkadiusz Solibieda in the 82nd minute of play forced KS Blizne's goalkeeper Edgar Gregorczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Arkadiusz Solibieda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the match, FC Dwa Do Ósmej's goalkeeper Franciszek Lerych had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cyryl Dziurowicz. Aureliusz Dlugi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Franciszek Lerych made a huge save. The supporters of KS Blizne booed when FC Dwa Do Ósmej was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Ove Hägert didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the FC Dwa Do Ósmej defense, Cyryl Dziurowicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Franciszek Lerych. The FC Dwa Do Ósmej fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franciszek Lerych should have stopped the shot. Neither FC Dwa Do Ósmej or KS Blizne succeeded in finding a winner during the second half. That meant the players faced another 30 minutes of extra-time.

After the break the players went out on the field to play the first half of overtime with revived energy in their legs. FC Dwa Do Ósmej's Arkadiusz Solibieda started the play with the initial kick off. 102 minutes into the match, KS Blizne's goal looked a bit too open when Arkadiusz Solibieda came free, but Edgar Gregorczyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franciszek Lerych showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyryl Dziurowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 104th minute. The FC Dwa Do Ósmej players wondered just what they needed to do win this one. 105 minutes had now been played and the teams were still tied. Penalties were starting to look likely.

Both teams seemed ready to fight when KS Blizne's Aureliusz Dlugi did the kick off and started the second half in the overtime. KS Blizne's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
