Luan Pombo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zbigniew Brudzisz. CZECHOWICE-DZIEDZICE's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Chinese CJ Youth Academy made a substitution. Tytus Orling replaced Lucjan Falkiewicz. Kjell Mattsson's late challenge caught a CZECHOWICE-DZIEDZICE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kjell Mattsson helped the player get up and apologised.

The Chinese CJ Youth Academy supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Chinese CJ Youth Academy would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
