William Westelinx showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC GIDLE's goalkeeper Artur Sarnat, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Artur Sarnat made an important save on a dangerous shot by William Westelinx in the 21st minute. In the 27th minute Christer Belzner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Vereijt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers A.J. 张飞 in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rene Vereijt saved FC Ouagadougou National from getting behind. In the 29th minute, Ahmet Baki Lebib left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC GIDLE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zhuo Jing Shi during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC GIDLE getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Zhuo Jing Shi hit a great ball. FC GIDLE's Artur Sarnat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamza Yavaş in the 34th minute of play. 1-2 became the score in the 35th minute when A.J. 张飞 elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Rene Vereijt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Baki Lebib, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Ouagadougou National's Rene Vereijt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christer Belzner in the 40th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC GIDLE's Wawrzyniec Dropinski got a free kick in the 43rd minute. FC GIDLE's Artur Sarnat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save FC GIDLE from getting a goal against them. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in FC Ouagadougou National's zone, Christer Belzner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rene Vereijt came out of the goal and Christer Belzner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 55 minutes into the match, FC GIDLE's goal looked a bit too open when Hamza Yavaş came free, but Artur Sarnat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Ouagadougou National's Rene Vereijt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by A.J. 张飞 in the 62nd minute of play. In the 65th minute Christer Belzner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Vereijt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rene Vereijt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christer Belzner in the 65th minute of play. Rene Vereijt made an important save on a dangerous shot by A.J. 张飞 in the 66th minute. Artur Sarnat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Santi in the 96th minute of play.
