Dani Hernández showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wu Qi in the 4th minute of the match. In the 8thth minute of the game Filip Bochinski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Samurai's Vince Di Cola was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 10th minute, Samurai's Allan Bivall dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After 15 minutes Samurai's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Filip Bochinski who took care of the corner kick. Chivos de Punto Fijo's Filip Bochinski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vince Di Cola in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With an all-out effort, Samurai's Dani Hernández threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Timmy Henriksson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 19 played minutes Samurai got a freekick which was hit by Alto Wing. Vince Di Cola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilmar Marinho in the 22nd minute of play. Samurai's Vince Di Cola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Bochinski in the 25th minute of play. Dani Hernández made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timmy Henriksson in the 33rd minute of play. Vince Di Cola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Bochinski in the 34th minute of the match. With a little luck, Chivos de Punto Fijo's Dani Hernández got control of the ball when Wu Qi tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 40 minutes, Wu Qi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Samurai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wu Qi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timmy Henriksson in the 42nd minute of play forced Chivos de Punto Fijo's goalkeeper Dani Hernández to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vince Di Cola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Bochinski, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Wu Qi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Samurai's supporters rose to their feet, but Wu Qi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dani Hernández breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The supporters of Samurai booed when Chivos de Punto Fijo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filip Bochinski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 99th minute of the match Chivos de Punto Fijo got a corner. Samurai's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Filip Bochinski ran over to the corner to take the kick.

Samurai's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
