The shot was a little too simple and Feng Chao Wei could save by the left post. The corner led Marlin FC's Aybek Orcun to fire away a dangerous shot which Feng Chao Wei despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Juan Carlos Alvarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Goodman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Feng Chao Wei made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Yin Yang sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saul Goodman in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Carlos Alvarez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 24 minutes into the match, Villa Verde FC's goalkeeper Feng Chao Wei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dionisio Panpili. Juan Carlos Alvarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Goodman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yin Yang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Feng Chao Wei made a huge save. In the 30th minute, Marlin FC's Yin Yang ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Feng Chao Wei. Feng Chao Wei yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Villa Verde FC's Feng Chao Wei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Linus Fredriksson in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Villa Verde FC's Dario Sustrai got a free kick in the 44th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Linus Fredriksson made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Marlin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fermin Arixo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aybek Orcun in the 62nd minute of play forced Villa Verde FC's goalkeeper Feng Chao Wei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Linus Fredriksson in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Feng Chao Wei saved Villa Verde FC from getting behind. Juan Carlos Alvarez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Sustrai in the 64th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Villa Verde FC's corner Luís Guilherme Cearense fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Juan Carlos Alvarez quite easily take care of the ball. Erivaldo Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Carlos Alvarez having to interfere. Luís Guilherme Cearense received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Juan Carlos Alvarez came out and tried to block the shot, but Luís Guilherme Cearense slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 76th minute. In the 81st minute of the match, Erivaldo Borges tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Juan Carlos Alvarez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 90th minute, Dario Sustrai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score was 1-1 after 90 minutes, which forced the match into extra-time.

After resting during the break, the players from both teams went out on the field looking very concentrated. It was now first half of the overtime. Luís Guilherme Cearense made the kick off and play began. Yin Yang received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Feng Chao Wei came out and tried to block the shot, but Yin Yang slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 102nd minute. Marlin FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
