George Forsyth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicasio Gotzon in the 9th minute of the match. When Zinédine Beckenbauer fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Commander Crowe's protests and gave Zinédine Beckenbauer a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Commander Crowe getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Zinédine Beckenbauer hit a great ball. George Forsyth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jimmie Käcker went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. George Forsyth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Shi De Chang in the 20th minute. George Forsyth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmie Käcker, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Edvard Fagerberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tulio Andinyach in the 29th minute of the match. Enrique Cassaretto scored 1-4 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edvard Fagerberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edvard Fagerberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 38th match minute, Commander Crowe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roy Andreasson to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Buendia in the 39th minute of play forced Commander Crowe's goalkeeper Edvard Fagerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. George Forsyth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimmie Käcker in the 42nd minute of play. Mathias Hultman kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. George Forsyth made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Jimmie Käcker sent off a good shot on target. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

The wind increased when Enrique Cassaretto made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Commander Crowe's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Cassaretto came free, but Edvard Fagerberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrique Cassaretto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Edvard Fagerberg made a huge save. Edvard Fagerberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Enrique Cassaretto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 56 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Cassaretto in the 60th minute of play forced Commander Crowe's goalkeeper Edvard Fagerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Enrique Cassaretto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CD Municipal made a substitution. Evtim Kúrdzhev replaced Tulio Andinyach. Edvard Fagerberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enrique Cassaretto in the 66th minute. George Forsyth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimmie Käcker in the 67th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Enrique Cassaretto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edvard Fagerberg. The goal made the score 1-6. CD Municipal's George Forsyth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimmie Käcker in the 73rd minute of play. The supporters of Commander Crowe booed when CD Municipal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliano Buendia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute of the game Zinédine Beckenbauer made a throw-in which Mathias Hultman played forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Wennerlund in the 81st minute of play forced CD Municipal's goalkeeper George Forsyth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. George Forsyth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Wennerlund in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Commander Crowe's goalkeeper Edvard Fagerberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 86 minutes into the game, Enrique Cassaretto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-7. Edvard Fagerberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enrique Cassaretto in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edvard Fagerberg saved Commander Crowe from getting behind. If Enrique Cassaretto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. CD Municipal walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
