ΠΑΟΚ FC's Björn Kamp was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cristoforo Tammaro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 16 minutes into the game, Lunatics of Arianrhod's Ernesto Martini nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ingvar Nykvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 20th minute Edmondo Del Monte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristoforo Tammaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santiago Silva in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristoforo Tammaro saved Lunatics of Arianrhod from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Hibai in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ingvar Nykvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 25 minutes into the match, Lunatics of Arianrhod's Ernesto Martini sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ingvar Nykvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ingvar Nykvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fedele Panza in the 26th minute of play. Santiago Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Santiago Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Cristoforo Tammaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
ΠΑΟΚ FC's Ronaldão Mendonça was substituted for Gustav Kock. After a rather tough play, ΠΑΟΚ FC's Baldovino Argos got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Santiago Silva's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Cristoforo Tammaro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 63 minutes into the match, ΠΑΟΚ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fedele Panza came free, but Ingvar Nykvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Hibai took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ingvar Nykvist. Ingvar Nykvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. ΠΑΟΚ FC made a substitution. Michalis Patsatzoglou replaced Thanasis Kanavos. 69 minutes into the match, ΠΑΟΚ FC's Santiago Silva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristoforo Tammaro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 69 played minutes Santiago Silva rounded Lunatics of Arianrhod's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. If Santiago Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Petros Mirtsos fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ΠΑΟΚ FC's protests and gave Petros Mirtsos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to ΠΑΟΚ FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Petros Mirtsos hit a great ball. After 78 played minutes Lunatics of Arianrhod got a freekick which was hit by Dário Pereira. 82 minutes into the game, Santiago Silva recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cristoforo Tammaro. Santiago Silva showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. 84 minutes into the match, ΠΑΟΚ FC's Zheng Yang Zhen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristoforo Tammaro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Zheng Yang Zhen took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Cristoforo Tammaro to make any attempt to save it. Lunatics of Arianrhod:s Cristoforo Tammaro showed great skill when he stopped Santiago Silva:s penalty. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zheng Yang Zhen in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristoforo Tammaro prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
