The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fausto Mendonça in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Germán Luz saved Deportivo Turro from getting behind. Germán Luz made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Fausto Mendonça sent off a good shot on target. Malcolm Stenman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Scarlet Speedster were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Deportivo Turro's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edward Krzynowek took the corner. A well done corner resulted in Raigo Vananurm drilling the ball in to score 1-0 behind Deportivo Turro's goalkeeper. In the 18th minute of the game Wilton Queirós made a throw-in which Ezequiel Nicholas played forward. In the 25th minute, Raigo Vananurm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Fausto Mendonça dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Germán Luz, 2-0. 31 minutes into the match, Deportivo Turro's goalkeeper Germán Luz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fausto Mendonça. Edward Krzynowek scored 3-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Germán Luz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 44 played minutes Deportivo Turro got a freekick which was hit by Al Horford. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

After some careless play in the Deportivo Turro defense, Fausto Mendonça kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Germán Luz. The Deportivo Turro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Germán Luz should have stopped the shot. Raigo Vananurm took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Germán Luz. Germán Luz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Fausto Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Germán Luz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raigo Vananurm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Fausto Mendonça sped through Deportivo Turro's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Germán Luz. Scarlet Speedster made a substitution. Ekialde Nadal replaced Fausto Mendonça. Deportivo Turro's Pedrinho Moreira was substituted for Wilton Queirós. Scarlet Speedster's Anselmo Remir was substituted for Tomas Wallin. Germán Luz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ekialde Nadal, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Deportivo Turro's Germán Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ekialde Nadal in the 94th minute of play. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 7-1 when Ekialde Nadal sped through Deportivo Turro's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Germán Luz.
