Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Terri Moco's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute, Terri Moco reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rolando Noboa. The goal made the score 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in A.A. Cachila's zone, Julian Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Hartz came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emmanuel Reyes kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Terri Moco got free with Rolando Noboa in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 45 minutes Peru's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jonas Orlo who took care of the corner kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Gustavo Hartz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Tenorio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, A.A. Cachila's Gustavo Hartz got control of the ball when Milagros Fraga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Antonio Tenorio succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-2 in the 95th playminute.
