Derwin Valensuela might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquin Gayoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Derwin Valensuela ran back to his position shaking his head. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Derwin Valensuela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joaquin Gayoso was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Derwin Valensuela capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Derwin Valensuela really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joris Scheer got free with Joaquin Gayoso in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. S.C.CHUÍ's Derwin Valensuela quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jorge Sainz, made in the 41st minute of the game. With a little luck, Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso got control of the ball when Joris Scheer tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, S.C.CHUÍ's Bernardinho Abreu got a free kick in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Joris Scheer made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when S.C.CHUÍ's Joris Scheer fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joris Scheer in the 55th minute of play. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Camilo Covarrubias hit a great ball. Elder Donatello struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Joaquin Gayoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.C.CHUÍ. 75 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Joris Scheer came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Alberto Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armando Cerezo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. The supporters of S.C.CHUÍ booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Beldad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joris Scheer went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score.
