Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cristian Miccoli made the kick off which started today's match. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Baldovino having to interfere. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Anga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidel Raulo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Anga FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tomas Baldovino in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 13 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomas Baldovino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Miccoli in the 19th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Miccoli. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute of play forced Anga FC's goalkeeper Tomas Baldovino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita scored 0-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomas Baldovino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Baldovino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Baldovino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Jackie Chan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Anga FC's corner Todor Latinov fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Anga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Tomas Baldovino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anga FC's Tomas Baldovino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Anga FC from getting a goal against them. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Quintyn in the 74th minute of the match. Marcial Quintyn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute Jackie Chan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jackie Chan, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute Anga FC were awarded a corner. Todor Latinov went to the cornerflag to take it.
