The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, MZ Fénix's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Falk came free, but Pankracy Zajonc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, MZ Fénix's Pankracy Zajonc got control of the ball when Ture Waller tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cai Yuan Yuan took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benne Benneborg. Benne Benneborg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Pankracy Zajonc made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Ture Waller sent off a good shot on target. MZ Fénix were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Northland Vikings's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aras Görkem Kaymaz took the corner. The corner led MZ Fénix's Aras Görkem Kaymaz to fire away a dangerous shot which Benne Benneborg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, MZ Fénix's goal looked a bit too open when Ralf Allgöwer came free, but Pankracy Zajonc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ture Waller in the 28th minute of play forced MZ Fénix's goalkeeper Pankracy Zajonc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, MZ Fénix's Cai Yuan Yuan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benne Benneborg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ture Lundgren in the 35th minute of play forced MZ Fénix's goalkeeper Pankracy Zajonc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ture Lundgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Pankracy Zajonc made a huge save. Cai Yuan Yuan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benne Benneborg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Pankracy Zajonc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ture Lundgren in the 45th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Pankracy Zajonc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ture Waller in the 52nd minute of play. Pankracy Zajonc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Čolak in the 53rd minute of the match. Pankracy Zajonc didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ture Lundgren went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Pankracy Zajonc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ture Waller, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After 63 played minutes MZ Fénix got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Ovando. In the 68th minute Ture Waller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Zajonc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aras Görkem Kaymaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benne Benneborg having to interfere. MZ Fénix's Alexandre Valido was substituted for Vladimiro Granja. Northland Vikings's Jonatan Gerdberg was substituted for Aleksander Lange. A throw-in in the 77th minute of the game was made by Jorge Azenha with Ralf Allgöwer as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Pankracy Zajonc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ture Lundgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benne Benneborg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cai Yuan Yuan in the 81st minute of the match. In the 86th minute, MZ Fénix's Cai Yuan Yuan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benne Benneborg. Benne Benneborg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Pankracy Zajonc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Rosen, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 94th minute Cai Yuan Yuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benne Benneborg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Northland Vikings defense, Cai Yuan Yuan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benne Benneborg. The Northland Vikings fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benne Benneborg should have stopped the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. MZ Fénix walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
