Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 3rd minute of play forced FSX UNITED's goalkeeper Ye Wei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 3rd minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ye Wei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, Peru's Luz Tejedor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ye Wei made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 13th minute of the game Emmanuel Reyes made a throw-in which Milagros Fraga played forward. Ye Wei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 15th minute of the match. A hard shot 17 in the game by Svend Betz from a close distance when the talented Rolando Noboa managed to make a qualified save. Peru's players were relieved. After 20 minutes FSX UNITED's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. Milagros Fraga made a great header on Peru's corner, it was just that FSX UNITED's Ye Wei managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 22nd minute, Svend Betz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Disvandis Advis, made in the 27th minute of the game. Ye Wei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ye Wei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ye Wei narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ye Wei stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 41st minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Svend Betz made a kick off. Karl-Åke Kvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FSX UNITED's Ye Wei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save FSX UNITED from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Peru booed when FSX UNITED was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Svend Betz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Svend Betz kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mircea Popilean in the 64th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Marcelo Salas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Ye Wei in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ye Wei made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 81st minute. 84 minutes into the match, Marcelo Salas notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Peru's Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Evelio Matetich kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Ye Wei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Gallo in the 92nd minute of play. Rafael Gallo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ye Wei firmly grabbed it by the left post. Despite being the better team, Peru failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
