Arkadiusz Barciniak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 8th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Konrad Resel came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thunderstorm Riders's Arkadiusz Barciniak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 13th minute of play. Kudret Tüzer came free with the goalkeeper in the 16th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marco Day could save by the left post. Marco Day made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Koti Kot sent off a good shot on target. Witold Glapiak hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arkadiusz Barciniak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Monty Rogers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Arkadiusz Barciniak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Almir Lago, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Arkadiusz Barciniak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Thunderstorm Riders defense, Cassius Byrne kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arkadiusz Barciniak. The Thunderstorm Riders fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arkadiusz Barciniak should have stopped the shot. Antoni Waselewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Kudret Tüzer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thunderstorm Riders's supporters rose to their feet, but Kudret Tüzer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Koti Kot was the one to do the kick off. Koti Kot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thunderstorm Riders's Arkadiusz Barciniak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 53rd minute of play. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konrad Resel in the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Konrad Resel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Day was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 63 minutes, Kudret Tüzer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Thunderstorm Riders and the USA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 63 played minutes Thunderstorm Riders got a freekick which was hit by Kudret Tüzer. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. In the 68th minute USA were awarded a corner. Monty Rogers went to the cornerflag to take it. Witold Glapiak tried in the 69th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Arkadiusz Barciniak a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-2. 73 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Almir Lago came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konrad Resel, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Konrad Resel charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Konrad Resel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Konrad Resel hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the match, Thunderstorm Riders's goalkeeper Arkadiusz Barciniak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sam Campbell. In the 94th minute Daniel Houseman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Houseman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. USA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
