Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conny Vesterberg in the 11th minute of play. Conny Vesterbergs short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ulf Ros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Tomas Illescas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcus Hagström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Conny Vesterberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rank 1's Marcus Hagström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 28th minute of play. Marcus Hagström came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Rank 1 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulf Ros didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 42 played minutes Rank 1 got a freekick which was hit by Fredric Åhman. Conny Vesterberg had several of the Venezuela's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 46 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-3 score and a disappointed Jonathan Ferrant as he didn't even see the shot coming.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Conny Vesterberg made a kick off. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 60 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. 61 minutes into the match, Conny Vesterberg notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 潘岚铮 in the 68th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 潘岚铮 went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. In the 71st minute Ulf Ros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conny Vesterberg in the 73rd minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Rank 1's goalkeeper Marcus Hagström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. A collision led to Rank 1 getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Fredric Åhman hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Conny Vesterberg's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. In the 90th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 潘岚铮 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conny Vesterberg in the 96th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 98 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fredric Åhman was slow to take the kick. During this time Rank 1's players had a chance to rest.
