Liu Peng Cheng struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FSX UNITED. 21 minutes into the match, FSX UNITED's Svend Betz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Lacasa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of FSX UNITED booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Gaona didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Svend Betz got free with Dante Lacasa in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luca Rouco hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 51st minute of play forced FSX UNITED's goalkeeper Ye Wei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
