Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) GD Almargense's Celso Eiró started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. Pedro Manzanares was a little too slow when Celso Eiró got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 1-0. Claudemiro Tristão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Axel Montenegro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claudemiro Tristão. GD Almargense's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Axel Montenegro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 22nd minute Alexandre Eanes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Manzanares was a little too slow when Benedito Rebelo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 2-1. In the 27th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudemiro Tristão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Abram Sarmiento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Axel Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abram Sarmiento in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudemiro Tristão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 39 minutes into the match, GD Almargense's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Claudemiro Tristão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after GD Almargense's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Montenegro took the corner. Axel Montenegro made a great header on Colombia's corner, it was just that GD Almargense's Claudemiro Tristão managed to reach the ball for a save. After a defensive mix-up in GD Almargense's zone, Axel Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudemiro Tristão came out of the goal and Axel Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Claudemiro Tristão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedito Rebelo in the 45th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Axel Montenegro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Claudemiro Tristão came out and tried to block the shot, but Axel Montenegro slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 52nd minute. The audience was convinced that Celso Eiró's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Montenegro got free with Claudemiro Tristão in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedito Rebelo in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd match minute, GD Almargense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by António Sousa to maneuver through the defense. António Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Abram Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Claudemiro Tristão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. The supporters of GD Almargense booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Carballar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute Abram Secada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudemiro Tristão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, GD Almargense's Claudemiro Tristão got control of the ball when Orlando Tafalla tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 79th minute of the match Colombia got a corner. GD Almargense's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kevin Mastache ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 82 minutes, António Sousa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GD Almargense and the Colombia players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, GD Almargense's António Sousa got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Kevin Mastache, 82 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Claudemiro Tristão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Secada in the 86th minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Colombia's Santino Seco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudemiro Tristão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. With a little luck, GD Almargense's Claudemiro Tristão got control of the ball when Abram Secada tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 93rd minute Colombia were awarded a corner. Kevin Mastache went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of GD Almargense's goalie and right to Luis Cazalla. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. GD Almargense's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 95th minute, Zarco Patrício made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. For all the effort they put into the match, the Colombia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for GD Almargense.
