Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Igor Mota started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 3rd minute of play forced Bandeca FC's goalkeeper Guaberto Gamus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bandeca FC's goalie prevented a goal. 8 minutes into the match, Bandeca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Guaberto Gamus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Gamus having to interfere. When Igor Mota came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Bandeca FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Mota couldn't finish the play. Guaberto Gamus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Bandeca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Guaberto Gamus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to Bandeca FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Márcio de Salles hit a great ball. Guaberto Gamus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guaberto Gamus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Bandeca FC's Igor Mota slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 1-1 after 30 minutes of play. 35 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Luis Andino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guaberto Gamus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 35 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Luis Andino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guaberto Gamus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Guaberto Gamus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Gamus having to interfere. In the 45th match minute, Bandeca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Ribeiro to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bandeca FC's goalie prevented a goal. Guaberto Gamus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 62nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Guaberto Gamus in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bandeca FC's Waldir Marquez was substituted for Tiago Ortiz. Bandeca FC's Arlindo de Carvalho was substituted for Hugo Ribeiro. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Guaberto Gamus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Guaberto Gamus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 77th minute. Guaberto Gamus made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. 80 minutes into the match, Bandeca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Guaberto Gamus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Guaberto Gamus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Gamus having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bandeca FC.
