Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Julian Murillo started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Big Burne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaël Thuilliez made in the 4th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Raphaël Lallemand immediately put the ball in play. In the 6th match minute, Les Pionniers de Touraine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rareș Gheară to maneuver through the defense. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tanek Zurawski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Les Pionniers de Touraine's Tanek Zurawski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 10th minute of play. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Raphaël Lallemand tried to sneak it across the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raphaël Lallemand. 17 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tanek Zurawski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tanek Zurawski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 19th minute of the match. Abraham Beauval could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tanek Zurawski saved Les Pionniers de Touraine from getting behind. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Patryk Kopacz, made in the 33rd minute of the game. Tanek Zurawski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Gaël Thuilliez hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Milagros Fraga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Milagros Fraga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tanek Zurawski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Luz Tejedor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Tanek Zurawski made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. In the 58th minute, Peru's Julian Murillo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tanek Zurawski. Tanek Zurawski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. 66 minutes into the game, Cuauhtémoc Cardenas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Les Pionniers de Touraine's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peru the free kick. Les Pionniers de Touraine made a substitution. Hervé Malaise replaced Raphaël Lallemand. In the 66th minute, one of Les Pionniers de Touraine:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Les Pionniers de Touraine. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. When Les Pionniers de Touraine's Hervé Malaise in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Peru's goalie prevented a goal. 88 minutes into the match, Peru's Rafael Gallo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tanek Zurawski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The throw-in from Gaël Thuilliez in the 90th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Antonio Tenorio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute Hervé Malaise shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Peru left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Les Pionniers de Touraine.
