Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Mantorp's Bernt Kihlberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bernt Kihlberg took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven-Olof Gummeson saved Mantorp from getting behind. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 16th minute. Julio Vera didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Mantorp's Bernt Kihlberg shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Bernt Kihlberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernt Kihlberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernt Kihlberg in the 23rd minute of the match. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernt Kihlberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th match minute, Mantorp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Lundqvist to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 28th minute of play forced Mantorp's goalkeeper Sven-Olof Gummeson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernt Kihlberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Juan Sebastián Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 34th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Olof Gummeson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute Bernt Kihlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Camilo Gisbert hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. The supporters of Mantorp booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernt Kihlberg took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 62 minutes into the match, Mantorp's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Sven-Olof Gummeson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Sven-Olof Gummeson in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Bernt Kihlberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mantorp's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernt Kihlberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 72 minutes of play, Mantorp's Bernt Kihlberg made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mantorp's Sven-Edvin Henriksson was substituted for Aaron Lundqvist. Anders Olofsson kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sven-Olof Gummeson. Mantorp's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mantorp's Sven-Olof Gummeson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Mantorp from getting a goal against them. Sven-Olof Gummeson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 86th minute of play. After 88 minutes Mantorp's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sven-Olof Gummeson quite easily take care of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Sven-Edvin Henriksson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Sven-Edvin Henriksson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Sven-Edvin Henriksson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Sven-Olof Gummeson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Thanks to some nice moves Felix Montenegro could shoot a difficult shot in the 95th minute, which Sven-Olof Gummeson however easily saved by the left post.
