Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Daniel Zorita made the kick off and thus started the match. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fan Ao Zhou in the 6th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emmanuel Bardel having to interfere. In the 14th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emmanuel Bardel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdo Santervas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valdo Santervas in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Emmanuel Bardel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Xspark Academy defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emmanuel Bardel. The Xspark Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emmanuel Bardel should have stopped the shot. Emmanuel Bardel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute of the match. If Castel Areces had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Castel Areces went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Emmanuel Bardel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. 42 minutes in the game Camilo Gisbert did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Cristian Sancho. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Castel Areces in the 45th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Castel Areces made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Castel Areces's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 50th minute of the game. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cristian Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Xspark Academy made a substitution. Teodoro Escobar replaced Fan Ao Zhou. The supporters of Xspark Academy booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdo Santervas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute of the match, Felix Montenegro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Emmanuel Bardel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henric Sandwall in the 74th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Xspark Academy's Henric Sandwall sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henric Sandwall in the 77th minute of play. Emmanuel Bardel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Henric Sandwall came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Emmanuel Bardel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Escobar in the 88th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Antonio Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute, Luizão Mendonça sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ecuador's Julio Vera didn't even have to move. If Teodoro Escobar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 95 minutes, Henric Sandwall managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Xspark Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henric Sandwall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Xspark Academy throughout the match.
